There’s nothing as yummy as a home-cooked meal. We encourage our children to develop healthy eating habits.

Meals at the Ark are simple, well-balanced, delicious and nutritious. Food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises each day by our full time cook. Children take their meals in our separate dining room, making mealtimes a fun, social experience.

The menus reflect the seasons and are rotated on an annual basis and parents are provided with this information each month as the menu changes.

Children receive fresh fruit and a drink mid-morning, a two-course hot meal at lunchtime, and an afternoon tea. A vegetarian alternative is provided each day (and served to all children once a week). Our experienced cook can also cater for individual dietary requirements.

The menu is varied and reflects different cultural and religious backgrounds from around the world.
