Our Stretched Offer
The government offer 30 funded hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. At The Ark, we are open for 51 weeks of the year, so the funding is stretched and you will receive 22.35 hours a week funded for 51 weeks. Please note that our fees are annualised over 51 weeks of care and are spread evenly across 12 monthly payments. This ensures consistent payments throughout the year, regardless of variations in the number of days per month.

Pre-School Only Special Offer
All-year-round stretched Monday to Friday 9am-3pm in Pre-School only: £530.39 monthly cost (including meals, consumables and unfunded hours).
The nursery will be closed on bank holidays, as well as for 2 staff training days each year. Normal fees apply for these days. No refunds will be given for these sessions.
No Refunds for Sickness or Holidays: Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for holidays or sickness, as staff must still be paid, and we do not buy individual portions of food.
Unforeseen Closures: If the nursery closes due to unforeseen circumstances for 5 days or less, normal fees will apply. For closures beyond this, the additional days will be refunded.
Fee Increases
Fees are reviewed annually and may increase each April at least in line with inflation or the National Minimum Wage. We will give a minimum of 1 months’ notice for any fee increases
Additional Sessions: If available, you can book additional sessions (half-day or full day).
